From the village you walk straight into nature, along dirt tracks and centuries-old routes.
Two officially marked walking routes run through and around Moreira de Rei: one marked yellow and red, the other yellow and white. Both start within walking distance of the house.
Just as beautiful are the paths that are not marked at all. Old connections between fields and villages, past granite formations, ravines and silent farmland. You can walk for kilometres here without meeting anyone.
Bring water and decent shoes; the granite is uneven. We are happy to point out on the map which loop suits the weather that day.
